The evening sky is many things: a cloaking curtain, a silent harbor, a veil of mystery. As I gaze skyward, remembering my day, wondering on my life, imagining my tomorrow, I can greet the darkness with relief or fear.
Today is passing, veiled and fading. Its time has passed, its lessons are in place, if not already learned. And tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow? What of them? As I search for answers, my eyes fall upon the moon; sweet Luna, gleaming. I rest my eyes on her. She is God’s light in the darkness. For me, she represents hope and promise.
I rest my eyes on Luna, trusting. I rest my eyes on Luna, trusting.
